Objective: To compare pelvic floor disorders between vaginal delivery (VD) and cesarean (CD). Methods: For this study, a PUBMED database search was used, utilizing combination of relevant medical subjects’ headings (MeSH) terms, with the following keywords: “Pelvic disorders” or morbidity” “Delivery”. Search limits were articles in English Spanish, about women, published from December 2009 to 2019. The STATA 16 package used for meta-analysis data heterogeneity assessment. Results: Thirteen studies meeting eligibility criteria identified comprising 1,597,303 participants. Abstract: Pelvic morbidity prevalence Urinary Incontinence (UI) 27.9% (5411 patients 7 reported cases), Organ Prolapse (POP) 14.2% (6019 8 Anal (AI) 0.4% (1,589,740 5 cases). Our meta-analyses revealed significantly higher rates all three morbidities overall VD versus CD group: UI OR = 2.17, 95% CI 1.64–2.87, p ? 0.0001, I2 84%; POP 3.28, 1.91–5.63, heterogenicity 0.043, 63%; AI 1.53, 1.32–1.77; 0.291, 20%; (OR 1.64–2.87; 84%). Conclusion: Vaginal is directly related appearance disorders, mainly UI, POP, AI. risk should be taken into consideration after postpartum follow-up performed, identify and/or treat it at earliest stages.
